Loughborough are delighted to announce an exciting partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), in hosting one of only two National Academies in Great Britain as part of the new LTA performance strategy.
The Loughborough Sport Tennis National Academy (LSTNA) will deliver a pro-style, intra-disciplinary training environment tailored specifically to prepare players for the demands of pro tennis. The National Academy (NA) will provide bespoke programmes for a maximum of 16 players between the ages of 13-18 years old, with the first cohort of players arriving in September 2019.
The National Academies will be the first major transition point in the LTA player pathway, as a player moves from the National Performance Pathway to the Pro Tour Pathway. LSTNA will plan and deliver a programme that provides a level of coaching and service provision that sets new standards within the sport and that transforms the development of future British champions - as players and people.
We are looking for individuals with the passion, commitment and expertise to create a world-leading and genuinely transformational training environment.
