Re-Imagining Engineering Design
Fixed Term for 24 months
We are seeking to appoint two full-time Research Associates in an exciting new project Re-Imagining Engineering Design (RIED). This is a multi-institutional Programme Grant, co-funded by the EPSRC and a consortium of Industrial and Academic Collaborators including Rolls-Royce, The MTC, Airbus, Denroy, etc, and Queens University Belfast and The University of York.This presents a great opportunity for high calibre research associates to join our team as we develop new approaches to integrating design, manufacturing and physical verification of processes, products, services and supply chains.
The researchers will contribute to the work packages led by the Loughborough Team that comprise process parameterisation, simulation, as well as the challenges of verification/validation to a standard that can inform (and be informed by) new Design Methodologies, considering the various stakeholders along a supply chain.
