Social Sciences
Fixed-term Maternity Cover to 30 August 2019 or the earlier return of the post holder (whichever is the sooner)
This is an opportunity to join Communication and Media Studies at Loughborough University, part of the School of Social Sciences. Loughborough Communication and Media Studies is recognized nationally and internationally for its excellence in research, teaching and enterprise. The School has an investment strategy to develop cross-disciplinary studies based around its core strengths and is in a strong financial and student recruitment position.
Applications are invited from outstanding candidates with teaching interests across media and communication.
The candidate must have experience of teaching and will be expected to help lead teaching and contribute to other areas of the curriculum as required, including the delivery and development of BSc and MA programmes. The lectureship will commence on 18 February or as soon as possible thereafter.
Candidates are expected to have a PhD in a social science discipline, an active research profile, and the clear potential to contribute to the University Strategy of Building Excellence in a high-performing HE environment.
