Institute for Sport Business
The Institute for Sport Business at Loughborough University's London Campus is seeking to make an appointment in the area of Sport Business with a preferred focus on performance and business analytics, at Lecturer level. The successful candidate will be expected to plan, develop and teach in Sport Business across a range of Masters Programmes. He or she will also be expected to supervise higher degree research students, to produce high-quality scholarly research outputs, to attract external research funding and to interact with a range of relevant external stakeholders.
The successful applicant will have a PhD in Sport Management or a complementary field to the Institutes research and teaching interest. The applicant will have the ability to pursue a research programme in line with the research focus of the Institute, attract research funding, publish in high-impact journals, while also having demonstrated experience in teaching, with particular interest in teaching postgraduate coursework. In addition, the successful candidate should be willing to take on an administrative role within the Institute.
The applicant will be required to establish and maintain effective working relationships with academic and technical staff, postgraduate students and have excellent communication skills in both written and oral English.
