Loughborough University (CREST) in collaboration with Warwick, Ulster and London South Bank Universities have been awarded funding from the EPSRC to undertake research to address the challenge of developing Low Temperature Heat Recovery and Distribution Network Technologies.
The main research to be performed at CREST relates to the assessment low carbon heat sources, heat demands, thermal storage systems and the development and application of a spatially and temporally detailed model of district heat networks. Applicants should have a PhD in engineering or physical science (or equivalent) and experience of undertaking a long term detailed experimental and theoretical research project successfully
This role is full time and fixed term for 30 months.
