School of Science
Full Time, Open Ended
The School of Science is seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to the role of operations support co-ordinator who will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating a number of key functions relating to the smooth running of administration, financial, HR and Event Management related activities; including resource management and compliance support.
The post holder, as part of the wider operations team, will work closely with others both within the School of Science and across campus such as the Central Finance, HR and Marketing teams to provide support and advice to academic colleagues on budgetary arrangements and human resources queries.
Applicants should have experience of working in a finance related role as well as experience of developing and enhancing administrative systems and processes. Candidates should also possess a strong commitment to providing an outstanding service, be quick to learn and adapt in a changing environment and manage complex workloads. The ability to work flexibly, embed compliance/regulatory changes and develop appropriate procedures as well as excellent practical IT skills are essential.
