Loughborough Sport

Loughborough Sport is looking to recruit an experienced Sports Volunteering Officer. This role will support the Sports Volunteering Coordinator in managing and developing all sports volunteering as part of the Coach & Volunteer Academy (CVA) and wider Loughborough Sport team.
Working within the Performance and Development Team, this highly enthusiastic, motivated and organised individual will support the CVA strategy’s vision to be ‘the world leading HE institution in providing life shaping experiences that develop the sporting workforce of the future’.
This individual will also have responsibility for overseeing the CVA’s social media channels, including creating engaging content, producing newsletters and managing the CVA website to raise the reputation and profile of the workforce development pathways in Loughborough Sport.
The workforce development pathways within the CVA are crucial to the Loughborough Sport experience and as such, this is no usual officer role. This is a fast paced, multi-dimensional role whereby the right person will be influential in working with students and staff alike to help create truly inspiring and developmental experiences.
Normal working pattern will be Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm. There will be opportunity to work from home, however this is a student facing role so the successful candidate will mostly work from the office.
