Loughborough University is launching six new Flagship Research Institutes, each designed to accelerate world leading research and innovation and strengthen our global impact. We are inviting internal expressions of interest from exceptional leaders to take on the role of Institute APVC/Director for each of the following Institutes:
These six new senior leadership roles (each at 0.6 FTE) represent an exciting opportunity to shape the vision, identity and impact of our Institutes and to accelerate the University’s ambitions under the 2030 Strategy and Research and Innovation Core Plan. Postholders will join the University Leadership Group (ULG) and be supported by Professional Services staff in the R&I Institutes Team within the Research and Innovation Office (RIO), working in close collaboration with M&A.

Please submit a 2-page CV and complete the Expression of Interest form, outlining the Institute you wish to lead, how you meet the responsibilities and essential criteria set out in the role description and person specification and your vision for how the Institute will add value to research and innovation activity.
