An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the Student Services team at Loughborough University. Student Services plays a pivotal role in the University’s strategic ambition to deliver a life-shaping student experience, supporting students across a wide range of academic and campus activities.
We are seeking an International Student Experience Coordinator to join our expanding team. This position will focus on ensuring a sector-leading experience for international students at Loughborough University, fostering a positive, welcoming, and supportive environment. The role is diverse and will include coordinating and delivering our events programme, including our extensive vacation programmes. In addition, the role will involve managing a range of projects and liaising with key stakeholders across the University.
The postholder will work year-round to enhance support for international student induction, transition, engagement, and the overall student experience at all levels of study. During the summer months, the coordinator will collaborate closely with the Academic Language Support Service to oversee the Pre-sessional Orientation, providing essential pastoral support and line managing a Student Support team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a strong background in project and event management, as well as a genuine passion for supporting the international student experience. The successful candidate will be student-focused, culturally aware, and dedicated to helping students feel at home at Loughborough University.
Please note that this role requires some out-of-hours delivery, including evenings, weekends, and during the University’s closure periods (Christmas and Easter).
