Loughborough University is now the top University in the world for sport and is seeking to recruit a skilled Grounds Person with a passion for maintaining sports turf to the highest possible standards. The successful candidate will undertake all aspects of maintenance on both grass and artificial playing surfaces and will take pride in becoming part of the Loughborough University Team.
We require a Grounds Person to carry out a range of tasks within the sports grounds section at the University. Some experience in the use of horticultural machinery would be essential. You will be working in a small team setting up and maintaining sports pitches. Previous ride on mower and tractor driving experience is needed to carry out maintenance and development works on sports grounds under instruction from line manager. Some experience, working in a sports maintenance role and driving horticultural machines is considered essential requirements for this post.
