We are seeking to appoint a full-time permanent IT Technical Support Officer for our University's London Campus, situated on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, self-motivated individual, to help support our students studying master's degrees as well as our researchers, academic staff and stakeholders. We want to appoint someone who is enthusiastic about being involved in this venture, who is committed to being flexible about their role and who embraces change.
The role will involve providing a high-quality proactive level of support for users of University IT systems at the London campus. This will include daily maintenance and frontline support of the IT Helpdesk function. You will also be responsible for resolving technical problems and faults as well as implementing and supporting specialist IT equipment and solutions developed by the main campus IT support teams. In conjunction with support from the main campus specialist IT teams, you would be the 'go-to' person on the London campus for all queries relating to IT.
Although the post is based in London, it is expected that the successful candidate will attend meetings and other appropriate events at Loughborough.
