We are seeking to appoint 2 full time English for Academic Purposes Tutors to provide academic English and study skills support for students from a diverse range of educational, linguistic and cultural backgrounds. The role will include involvement in the preparation and delivery of Pre-sessional Programmes and in-sessional support.
You should be a graduate with a CELTA/PGCE or equivalent, ideally hold a DELTA or equivalent and / or relevant MA/MSc and have experience in teaching English for academic purposes / study skills within a HE context. Experience of teaching home students would be an advantage but candidates wishing to extend their experience in this area will be considered. You must be fluent in English, both written and oral, be able to provide effective feedback to students and have strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
