Wolfson School of Mechanical Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering
Full time, Fixed Term for 18 Months with position not extending beyond the project end date of 30 April 2027
A researcher is required to work on an existing project within the Loughborough-Caterpillar Innovation & Research Centre, focused on the development of hydrogen fueled engines.
The project will investigate fundamental in-cylinder flow processes, utilising optical diagnostic techniques (including PIV) to provide new insight and understanding. We are looking for researchers with an experimental background, familiar with optical techniques, and experienced in analysing fluid processes.
Training and mentoring opportunities will be provided to enable everyone to unlock their maximum potential.
