School of Science - Mathematical Sciences
Fixed Term for 10 Months
This is a fixed-term 10-month Research Associate appointment funded by the Higher Education Innovation Fund (HEIF). The aim of this project is to develop a software tool for Musculoskeletal (MSK) Diffusion Tensor Image (DTI) analysis and to understand the pathway to commercialise the developed MSK DTI software. The underpinning research of the project is in the areas of computational statistics, medical image analysis and musculoskeletal science. This project will be led by Dr Diwei Zhou in Mathematics and Professor Jonathan Folland in Sports Science at Loughborough University with collaborative support from Professor Vicky Goh at Guy's and St. Thomas's Hospitals (London) and Professor Paul Morgan from Nottingham University Hospitals. The project will start from 1 February 2019.
