An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Performance Centre at Loughborough University, working alongside world-class athletes, including Olympic and Commonwealth medallists, and professional sports teams. As a Fitness Coach, you will deliver exceptional customer care while maintaining our state-of-the-art fitness facilities.
Your responsibilities will ensure the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the fitness equipment and facilities. This includes routine cleaning, reporting major faults, and ensuring all equipment is in top condition. You will also deliver high-quality training sessions, workshops, and classes, engaging with members to foster a dynamic and motivational environment.
In this role, you will interact directly with clients, offering personalised fitness consultations and support. You will also supervise the correct use of equipment, ensuring the facility meets the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.
Additionally, you will manage reception duties, handle bookings and payments, and assist with administrative tasks as needed.

The average working week is 37.5 hours per week, including weekdays and weekends, mornings and evenings and there is a shift allowance of 12.5% during University term time and 5% during vacation time.
