School of Social Sciences and Humanities - Geography and Environment
Fixed-Term until March 2021
We are seeking to appoint a Research Associate in Quantitative Methods to work on the research project 'Emergence and Evolution of Next Generation Services'. This collaborative project between Loughborough University's School of Social Sciences and Humanities and School of Business and Economics is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). The project is part of the UK Research and Innovation "Next Generation Services Challenge" and bridges two existing research groups: Technology Driven Next Generation Insurance (TECHNGI) in Loughborough University and Next Generation Professional Service Firms at the University of Sheffield.
Candidates should be passionate quantitative researchers who can further our understanding of how AI is fostering new types of professional services and transforming the composition of the existing service sector. Will institutions like insurance, law, accountancy coalesce in new sectors that do not yet exist?
