Join our Research and Innovation Office
We are investing heavily in the growth and development of our Research and Innovation Office and are recruiting to a large number of roles to strengthen our high-performing service.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Research and Innovation Operations to join our Research and Innovation team.
The Head of Research and Innovation Operations will be responsible for developing and overseeing the systems and processes for excellent operational performance which will underpin the University’s research and innovation strategy. Oversight will include pre-award, research governance, contracting and post-award management alongside the development of internal and external reporting capabilities.
The role will develop and lead the Research & Innovation Operations Group within the Research and Innovation Office, a new combination of existing functional teams within the Office and ensure delivery of an effective and integrated service across the research development lifecycle to the academic community.
You will be a highly credible and experienced professional, well versed in the challenges and opportunities of operating in these areas and be pragmatic and forward thinking in your approach.
