The Research and Innovation Office at Loughborough University is currently recruiting for an Energy Research Accelerator (ERA) Skills Manager to support the regional ERA Skills programme to play a leading role in the development and delivery of high-impact, cross-institutional skills programmes as part of the Energy Research Accelerator (ERA) initiative.
ERA is a flagship Midlands Innovation collaboration involving nine academic institutions and the British Geological Survey, with a mission to transform energy innovation across the region. Skills development is a central pillar of this mission, and the ERA Skills Manager will lead efforts to cultivate the next generation of energy researchers and innovators.

The role holder will be required to work closely with academic and professional services staff based at all partner institutions and industry to fully understand the aims and objectives of the ERA Skills Academy. They will work under the strategic direction of the ERA Leadership Group and the Director of the Research Academy, who will also be the line manager.
