Loughborough Sport
Part time (0.4 FTE) and fixed term from 1st September 2024 to 31st May 2025
Loughborough University is seeking to appoint a Men’s Lacrosse Coach to lead the delivery of coaching of the University Student Men’s Lacrosse team that competes in BUCS. The role will be mainly coaching, with elements of leadership and administration. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of Loughborough Sport and liaise with several internal departments and external organisations, including Loughborough Students Athletic Union (AU) and the Loughborough Students Lacrosse Club Committee.
Job purpose:● Lead, plan and implement a coaching programme for the Men’s Lacrosse 1st team within the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) competition.
● Support the development of a coaching programme for the Men’s Lacrosse 2nd team.
● Build a culture of excellence, innovation and learning that supports student athlete development throughout Lacrosse at Loughborough University.
Coaching sessions are normally three times per week (days to be confirmed) and BUCS matches on Wednesdays. Administrative work can be flexible around this.
