The Mathematics Education Centre (MEC) is part of the School of Science at Loughborough. The MEC is a world-leading centre for research in mathematics education, and has particular strengths in mathematical cognition and pedagogy. The successful candidate will be able to work alongside existing staff and will contribute to the teaching and learning of undergraduate mathematics, either to specialist mathematics students or to students from other disciplines whose courses have mathematical components. Candidates should have an emerging track record of outstanding research (a focus on pedagogy would be an advantage), and have the potential to attract external funding.
