We are investing heavily in the growth and development of our Research and Innovation Office and are recruiting to a large number of roles to strengthen our high-performing service.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Governance Officer (HTA) to join our Research and Innovation team.
As a Research Governance Officer (HTA) you will be responsible for ensuring appropriate standards of research governance are upheld. You will be part of the team that is responsible for Research Integrity and the University’s research governance structures. You will develop and deliver training and resources to academics to support a culture of robust and proportionate research governance.
You will be required to review national policy documents in parallel to University processes and procedures and advise on revising our institutional appetite to risk. You will act as secretary of the University Human Tissue Act Licence Sub committee and any other groups relevant to the Human Tissue Act. You will provide specialist information and advice and create guidance documents and training to both students and staff.
