Here’s more about the role and what we’re looking for:
In this role, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of the commercially let areas of the University’s operational campus including the provision of lease advisory services to the Loughborough University Science and Enterprise Park Operations Team and undertaking other estates and lease related legal and property advisory and management matters. This includes confidently working with a diverse range of people and applying strong interpersonal and persuasive skills. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the role involves close collaboration with and support for the Head of Property Office, providing advice and guidance to schools, stakeholders, and departments on a broad range of property‑related matters.
Key Requirements:
· Experience negotiating on behalf of Commercial Landlord and/or Tenants particularly lettings, lease renewals and rent reviews
· 2 years’ Commercial Property Management and/or Lease Advisory experience
· Good working knowledge of estate related legal matters including landlord and tenant law and practice, and particularly lease interpretation and compliance
