We have recently established Loughborough Law in the School of Social Sciences and Humanities. It is committed to critical, socio-legal and interdisciplinary research and teaching and the promotion of social justice. It will offer an undergraduate LLB programme on the East Midlands campus commencing in September 2026, a postgraduate taught LLM programme at the Loughborough London campus commencing in September 2025, and a postgraduate research programme across both campuses.
The role and what we’re looking for
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and pro-active individual to join our team in Academic Services and play a role in ensuring that Library services are relevant, forward thinking and offer academic excellence.
You will support undergraduate and postgraduate taught students, researchers and academic staff of Loughborough Law and related disciplines. You will be responsible for designing and delivering high quality student and researcher development opportunities and providing discipline expertise and advice on content to support the needs of learning, teaching and research and to inform curriculum and scholarly practice, innovation and success.
You will be a team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with academic staff and University colleagues.
Based at our attractive Loughborough East Midlands campus, you will work closely and collaboratively with our London Library colleagues. As such, monthly visits to our Loughborough University London campus will be required. More frequent visits may be necessary at times.
