Loughborough University is seeking to appoint an experienced and ambitious Head Coach to lead the Loughborough Lightning Rugby Union programme, based in the Sports Development Centre and in partnership with Northampton Saints. The main duties will include leading the performance environment and coaching the Lightning squad (including leading on training and preparing the Premier15s Squad), the delivery of both individual and small group technical/tactical development sessions, leading on selection and the management of the multi-disciplinary team, and reviewing and analysing performance of both Lightning and opposition teams through use of the appropriate match videos on elite hub and as provided by the Loughborough programme analysts. The role may require some flexibility in working hours to ensure timetabled sessions are well supported. The successful candidate should be a highly motivated individual with good practical and communication skills who works well as part of a team.
