Receptionist and Student Support Assistant, School of Science
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am until 4pm - Term Time Only
We are looking for a new Receptionist and Student Support Assistant for the School of Science. The successful candidate will join the team working across our two School of Science Administration Hubs which are the main service points for all Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Natural Science and Foundation students and the Maths Learning and Support Centre (MLSC).
The role holder will work from three hubs and will be the first point of contact for students and visitors in-person or contacting us by telephone or email. The role also includes completing general administrative duties which support our student programme administration. We will provide comprehensive training and are dedicated to developing our staff which makes this is an excellent opportunity for those who wish to start a career in university administration.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience of Microsoft Office, and an ability to undertake routine office duties. They will be happy to work as part of a team in a busy office environment.
