Research and Innovation Contracts Officer

Here’s more about the role and what we’re looking for: We’re seeking a pro-active, enthusiastic and highly organised individual, with excellent attention to detail and communication skills, to work in our Research and Innovation Contracts Team. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities within the team. The successful applicant will provide operational and administrative support to the Research & Innovation Contracts Managers. They will also be responsible for managing their own portfolio of contracts under supervision. No previous experience of working with contracts is required as full training will be provided. There may be opportunity for further progression. Typical responsibilities: • Being the first point of call for new enquiries, both internally and externally• Logging new cases in our Case Management System• Reviewing incoming information, identifying gaps, and liaising internally and externally to assemble all information and documentation required• Presenting incoming cases to the wider team for allocation including providing any pertinent details to colleagues• Providing first drafts of contracts, under supervision
