IT Services
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our Systems Infrastructure team as an IT Services Specialist. The team are responsible for data centres, virtualisation and servers along with a number of Windows and Linux infrastructure services including directory, email (Exim) and web site infrastructure.
You will have responsibility for developing, supporting and maintaining server operating systems, with a focus on a new Managed CentOS Server Service, along with supporting other Linux based services. You will have prior experience in this area along with excellent technical and analytical skills, combined with the ability to provide innovative technical solutions.
Prior experience with enterprise IT systems is highly desirable along with recent experience of administration of server operating systems, especially those based on RedHat Enterprise Linux. Proficiency in at least one scripting language is essential - whether Bash, Perl, PowerShell or something else - especially when used for system administration.
