Estates & Facilities Management
Loughborough University has built a reputation for its sports facilities and is seeking to recruit a semi-skilled Sports Ground Persons with a passion for maintaining sports turf to the highest possible standards. The successful candidate will undertake all aspects of maintenance on both grass and artificial playing surfaces and will take pride in becoming part of the Loughborough University Team.
This post requires experience on a broad variety of tasks within the sports grounds section of the University. Experience in the use of a wide range of horticultural machinery is essential, including competency in operating a ride on mower and a tractor with implements. Experience of marking out sports pitches is essential. You will work in a small team and will be responsible for setting up pitches as well as their overall maintenance. Spraying certificates PA1 and PA6 would be beneficial.
