The role and what we’re looking for
As a University Teacher in Information Management you will contribute to, develop and enhance the activities of the School through bringing direct academic and professional experience to the School’s taught programmes and enterprise activities. To assist with the development of teaching activities. To provide teaching, which may include teaching to post-experience students at the Master’s level, administrative and mentoring support.
Specifically, the teaching component of this job includes a range of areas within data science, with a particular focus on Python programming and related technology platforms appropriate to data science and big data analytics. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will have significant experience in teaching delivery to different levels of students, in particular introductory programming skills for business school cohorts, from undergraduate and MSc to MBA and Executive programmes.
The successful candidate will join the Information Management discipline group.
This post is available on a full-time open-ended basis, with a start date as soon as possible from November 2024. Hybrid working is also available, with a mix of working in the office and from home.
