School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences
(Full-time; Open-ended)
An enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with experience of working in a biomechanics laboratory with human participants is required to support and enhance the School’s Technical Services. You will work as part of a team of specialist technical staff to assist in setting up, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory equipment and spaces.
Good communication skills are essential, along with the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions and to understand safety instructions. Due to the nature of the work, candidates are expected to have a good level of physical fitness. A welcoming manner, reliability, professionalism, and a high level of attention to detail are also required.
