Student Services
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, enthusiastic individual to join Student Services. Student Services is at the heart of enabling the University’s strategic ambition to provide all students with a life-shaping student experience and is engaged with almost all areas of academic and campus activity in support of this goal.
We are looking for an international student experience coordinator to join our growing International Student Experience team, whose focus is to ensure a sector-leading experience for international students at Loughborough University. This role will provide international students with a positive, welcoming and supportive experience at Loughborough University. The role is multi-faceted and will involve projects and liaising with stakeholders across the University.
The role will work year-round to enhance support for international student induction, transition, engagement and overall experience of students at all levels of study. During the summer months the postholder will work closely with the Academic Language Support Service to coordinate the Pre-sessional Orientation, including provision of appropriate pastoral support and line managing a Student Support team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in project and events management and a passion to support the international student experience and help them to feel at home. The successful candidate will be student centred, culturally aware and passionate about enhancing our students’ experience.
