Research and Enterprise Office
We are seeking two dynamic, self-motivated and passionate individuals to join Loughborough University’s Business Incubator, LU Inc. LU Inc.’s mission is to cultivate emerging innovative and ambitious businesses, to create a rich and vibrant start-up community. The successful candidates will lead a new project encouraging and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs from across the region, originating from inside and outside the university.
You will engage with and inspire individuals to explore business start-up and recruit cohorts of new business founders, working with them directly to help develop and progress their businesses. You will help to equip entrepreneurs with skills, knowledge, resources and networks to rapidly test, validate, setup and grow new businesses. In turn, supporting rejuvenation of the local economy by helping start-ups to generate new jobs, value and innovations.
You will connect with key stakeholders & regional partners, including with colleagues in Loughborough Enterprise Network (LEN), Charnwood Borough Council, Leicester & Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership, Growth Hub and Charnwood Campus, to promote the start-up support available through LU Inc. facilities based at the Loughborough University Science and Enterprise Park (LUSEP) and in Loughborough Town Centre. We are recruiting 1.4 FTEs for up to 27 months and will consider full and part time applications.
