We are seeking an inspiring and committed fashion design tutor to join the School of Design and Creative Arts in a dedicated teaching-focused role on the BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Technology programme. This role offers an opportunity to play a key part in shaping contemporary fashion education, engaging with industry collaborations, sustainability and digital innovation.
You will bring a strong, applied background in fashion design and technology, with high-level industry experience. Your expertise may include pattern cutting, draping, creative concept development, garment development and ergonomics, across a range of product types. We are looking for a versatile and collegiate colleague with a broad and adaptable skill set who can contribute meaningfully to curriculum delivery and development.
Working collaboratively with academic and technical colleagues, you will help to deliver innovative, high-quality teaching and ensure excellent student outcomes. You will contribute to curriculum development and pedagogic innovation, supporting a learning experience that combines traditional fashion design skills with emerging technologies and contemporary practice.
The Fashion Design and Technology programme is rooted in collaborative, forward-looking approaches to fashion education, and we welcome applications from individuals who are keen to contribute across both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
